Chudleigh’s first invited people to visit their family’s apple farm in 1967. In the beginning, it was a place families could pick their own apples and savour a few hours of country life. Since then, visiting the farm has become an annual ritual for generations of kids, and kids-at-heart, throughout the region around their Milton, Ontario home. And it’s a fun way to learn more about how food is grown!
We were lucky enough to receive an invite for our very own tour of Chudleigh’s farm and facility this fall. With a shared love of food and family (and freshness!), how could we say no?! We even got a lesson in proper apple-picking technique. Watch the video for more on our day at Chudleigh’s!
