Longos Frozen Mixed Vegetables

Instructions:Steaming method Â¿ 6- 8 minutes 1. Fill a medium size sauce pan with 1Â¿ (2.5 cm) of boiling water. 2. Pour frozen mixed vegetables into steamerbasket and place in saucepan. Cover and bring to boil. 3. Reduce heat to medium. Steam for 6-8 minutes or until tender. 4. Drain and season to taste. Stovetop method Â¿ 5-7 minutes 1. Add frozen mixed vegetables to boiling water. Add salt if desired. Use 1 cup (250 ml) water per 2 cups (500 ml) mixed vegetables. Cover and bring to a boil. 2. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 5-7 minutes or until tender. 3. Drain and season to taste. Microwave Â¿ cooking time chart 1. Place frozen mixed vegetables in microwaveable dish. 2. Add water as specified on chart. 3. Cook at high power 100% according to chart. 4. Stir halfway through cooking. 5. Drain and season to taste. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes before serving.
