This beef Shepherd's Pie is filled with a flavourful mixture of ground beef, vegetables, onion and seasonings. The topping is made from mashed potatoes, fluffy and ready to brown in the oven.
Ingredients:
Filling: Water, ground beef, peas, carrots, onions, flour, cream, beef gravy base (salt, dextrose, hydrolyzed soy protein, caramel, hydrogenated soy oil, yeast extract, maltodextrin, garlic powder, spices, citric acid), caramel, spice. Topping: Water, dehydrated potato flakes (mono and diglycerides, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bisulphite, citric acid, and mixed tocopherols), cream, salt.
Instructions:
Oven: Remove pie from box. Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Place pie on baking tray. Heat pie in centre of oven for 30-35 minutes if frozen or 10-15 minutes if thawed. If browning of topping is desired, brush on either milk or liquid egg before heating). Microwave: Remove pie from box and foil dish and place on a microwaveable plate. Heat frozen pie for 4-5 minutes at highest setting. Let stand 1-2 minutes before serving.
