BBQ: Preheat one side of the barbecue to high. Place the flattened chicken, skin side down, on the oiled grill in the unheated side of the barbecue. Close the lid and cook for 45 minutes. Turk the chicken over and continue cooking for 15 to 35 minutes or until internal temperature reads 82C (180F), the juices run clear and the thighs detach easily.
