Certified angus boneless sirloin tip oven roast
***OVEN ROAST*** 1.Add water to roasting pan to a depth of 1/2'' (1.2cm). Place 2-5lb (1-2.4kg) roast, fat side up, on a rack over water in pan. 2.Season roast to taste and insert meat themomometer into centre of roast, avoiding fat or bone. 3.Place uncovered roast in PREHEATED 500F (260C) oven. Don't open oven door. After 15 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 275F (140C). Cook an additional 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 hrs for medium doneness. i.e. internal temperature = 160F (70C)
