Ingredients:
Brownie Mix: sugar, enriched wheat flour, vegetable oil shortening (soybean oil and/or cottonseed oil), mono and diglycerides, artificial flavour, dried egg white, corn syrup solids, baking powder, modified milk ingredients. Chocolate Frosting: sugar, vegetable oil shortening (soybean and/or cottonseed), water, corn syrup, cocoa, wheat starch, salt, salt, monoglycerides, polysorbate 60, natural and artificial flavour, citric acid, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate, sodium acid pyrophosphate. Freshness preserved by potassium sorbate. May contain traces of peanuts and/0or other nuts. Made with all vegetable shortening.
Instructions:
Heat oven to 180C. Grease bottom only of square pan. Stir brownie mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl, using a spoon, about 50 strokes or until well blended (do not use electric mixer). For cake like brownies, increase eggs to 2. Add 125ml chopped nuts, if desired. Spread in pan. Bake in a 2L pan for 32-35min. or a 2.5L pan for 28-31min. Do not over bake. Cool completely for easier cutting (approx. 2 hours). Cut into squares. Frost by first kneading frosting packet about 10sec. Cut off one end of packet. Squeeze frosting over brownie, spread evenly to edges.
